Three sentenced to 8-yr jail for attempt to murder

Three persons, including two brothers, were sentenced to eight years imprisonment each by a local court here in an attempt to murder case.

Additional Sessions Judge V K Pandey held the trio guilty under relevant sections yesterday and imposed a penalty of Rs 8000 on each.

Rammurti Tiwari and his son Anuresh Kumar were attacked by Chandra Mani, his son Prakash Chandra and Mohan in December 2009, police said.
