Three youths die due to suffocation in UP

Three persons died today due to suffocation while cleaning an abandoned well in village Nagla Udai Singh here, police said today.

Three youths identified as Munna (22), Kalua (18) and Veer Pal (18) went inside an abandoned public well for cleaning it to overcome the water shortage in the village but could not come out, they said.

The villagers then fished them out and rushed them to the district hospital where they were declared dead, Dy SP Ajai Kumar said.
