Tin, zinc and lead prices slip on subdued demand

Tin, zinc and lead prices slipped at the non-ferrous metal market here today due to stockist selling amid subdued demand from consuming industries.

While, copper and brass utensil prices rebounded following renewed demand from industrial users.

Tin fell by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 1,440 from Saturday's closing level of Rs 1,450.

Lead declined by Rs 4 per kg to Rs 147 from Rs 151.

Zinc moved down by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 231 from Rs 234.

However, copper sheet cutting jumped by Rs 7 per kg to Rs 392 compared to Rs 385 previously.

Copper cables scrap, Copper scrap heavy, Copper armiture and copper wire bar fell by Rs 4 per kg each to Rs 412, Rs 406, Rs 398 and Rs 440 from Rs 408, Rs 402, Rs 394 and Rs 436, respectively.
 

Brass utensils scrap eased by Rs 3 per kg to Rs 313 from Rs 310 and Copper utensils scrap moved down by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 365 as against Rs 363 earlier.
