TMC Darjeeliing holds demonstration for ouster of PM

The Trinmool Congress, Darjeeling Hills unit, today took out rally across various parts of the hills calling for the ouster of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

According to TMC, it has been over 61 days post-demonetisation, yet people are still suffering.

The PM had asked for 50 days for smooth transition post-demonetisation but this did not happen and hence the sufferings of daily wage labourers and farmers continue, the TMC maintained.

The TMC also demanded that the MPs who have been arrested for allegedly being involved in chit fund scam should be released without delay.
