As Trinamool Congress today completes four years in power in West Bengal, Congress said that the government had lost a golden opportunity to transform the state, allowing hoodlums to take over.

"If you ask me to give marks to this TMC regime, then I will give negative marks. They are not even worthy of getting zero out of ten," state Congress president Adhir Chowdhury told reporters.

Saying TMC government lost the golden opportunity to transform Bengal, senior state Congress leader Manas Bhunia said, "It is true that the CM is very hard-working. But she works only for TMC people. TMC has lost a golden opportunity to transform Bengal. The state is now in ruins with no industry and no employment generation," Bhunia said.

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, whose government completes four years in office today, said despite financial constraints and other hurdles her government has delivered its best and fulfilled its commitments to the people.
