The Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) today sealed 285 commercial properties in the city for their failure to pay taxes.
The civic body has sealed 285 commercial properties for their failure to pay taxes to the corporation. Separately, it has collected taxes to the tune of Rs 1.17 crore in Mumbra division, an official release said this evening.
In a related development, TMC said water supply to 39 buildings had been stopped for failure to pay dues.
