Tamil Nadu Chief Minister K Palaniswami arrived here tonight to offer worship to Lord Venkateswara.
On arrival at a guest house of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, managing the hill shrine, Palaniswami was welcomed by top TTD and district officials.
After an overnight halt, the chief minister, who is on his maiden visit, would offer worship to Lord Venkateswara in the wee hours on Tuesday, temple sources said.
He would leave for Chennai immediately, the sources added.
Tight security arrangements have been put in place for his visit.
