TN Governor,CM greet Muslims on Milad-Un-Nabi

Tamil Nadu Governor K Rosaiah and Chief Minister Jayalalithaa today greeted Muslims on the occasion of "Milad-un-Nabi."

In his greetings, Rosaiah said, "Let us on this holy occasion resolve to uphold the ideals laid by Prophet Mohammed, lead a true and compassionate life and promote peace, unity and brotherhood."

Hailing the teachings of Prophet Mohammed, whose birthday is celerbated as Milad-un-Nabi (tomorrow), Jayalalithaa said, "let us resolve to follow the lofty teachings of the Prophet and work unitedly for peace."

DMK president M Karunanidhi was among those who greeted Muslims on the occasion.
