: Tamil Nadu Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao today greeted the people of the State on the eve of Ayudha Pooja and Vijayadasami, to be celebrated on October 11.
"Ayudha Pooja marks the worship of implements and workplace and Vijayadasami signifies the victory of good over evil and an auspicious beginning - Lighting the lamp of knowledge in the young and enhancing the spirit of learning," he said.
In a statement here, he said, "May these auspicious occasions promote skill development, enhance knowledge, entrepreneurial skills and make India a global leader."
"I extend my Ayudha Pooja and Vijayadasami wishes to the people of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra and to those living in other parts of the country," he added.
