TN Govt to tap social media for propagating its schemes

Keeping in with the times where social media has turned out to be a useful tool, the AIADMK Government will soon take to the social platform to showcase its achievements and highlight schemes with the target audience being the youth.

Stating this in the assembly, Information Minister K T Rajendra Balaji said social platforms "have been well received" among the educated, especially youngsters.

"Therefore steps will be taken to reach people with the government's schemes and achievements," he added.

Having completed three years in office, the AIADMK Government is implementing a slew of populist measures which include providing free rice, laptops to students and milch animals among others.
