Tobacco products to be smuggled to Sri Lanka seized

Tobacco products meant to be smuggled to Sri Lanka were seized today from near the beach here and one person was arrested, police said.

However his two accomplices managed to escape, they said.

The exact quantity of the seized tobacco was being ascertained, they said.
