Trader robbed at gunpoint in Jind

A local trader was allegedly robbed of Rs 90,000 at gunpoint by three masked robbers when he was returning from the market, police said today.

The bike-borne men stopped wholesaler Vinod Kumar at a secluded place in Jhanj Gate area last evening when he was on his way to home, they said.

A case in the matter has been lodged and police are conducting searches to nab the trio involved in the crime, they added.
