TTFI chief to become Commonwealth TT body president

Table Tennis Federation of India chief P C Chaturvedi has been nominated as the president of the Commonwealth Table Tennis Federation (CTTF) during its Annual General Meeting (AGM) here.
Ganeshan Neelakanta Iyer, the chief referee at the Commonwealth Table Tennis Championships which ended here today, was inducted as full-member of CTTF's technical committee at the AGM held yesterday.
Chaturvedi, who would serve his term as president for the next two years, replaces Helen Hamilton who passed away recently.
Also, Chan Foong Keong of Malaysia was nominated as the secretary general, said Alan Ramsome, chairman of the international body.
