TVS Motor Company today reported a 7.28% increase in total sales at 2,19,467 units in February.
The Chennai-based company had sold 2,04,565 units in the same month of last year.
Total two-wheeler sales during the month grew 7.99% to 2,11,148 units as against 1,95,509 in the same month a year ago, TVS Motor Company said in a BSE filing.
Motorcycle sales rose 3.77% to 77,093 units in February compared with 74,292 in the same month a year ago.
Scooter sales surged 18.21% to 67,089 units as against 56,750 in the same period a year ago.
Three-wheeler sales stood at 8,319 units in February 2016, down 8.13%, compared with 9,056 in the year-ago month.
Exports during the month declined by 10.12% to 34,804 units, from 38,725 in February last year.
