Two bike-borne men snatch bag containing Rs 2.70 lakh in Raj

Two bike-borne men today allegedly snatched a bag containing Rs 2.70 lakh from a man here, police said.

One Ramavtar, a retired CRPF personnel, was walking towards railway station with the bag when the accused snatched it from him, SHO of Kotwali police station, Girdhari Sharma said.

"He withdrew the cash from a bank and purchased some grocery from market before the bag was snatched," Sharma said.

Efforts were on to identify and nab the accused, the SHO said.
