Two booked for trying to rape 7-year-old

Two youths were booked for attempting to rape a seven-year-old girl, police said here today.

Amit, a resident of village Chanaur, and Simran of village Chhaninand Singh were booked last night under various sections of the IPC for attempting to rape a seven-year-old girl, they said.

Both were absconding, police said adding efforts were on to apprehend them.
