Two drowns in flash floods

Two persons have been drowned in

flash floods in the district, police said today.

The tragedy occurred late last night when they were crossing a causeway on their bike at Rajan Nagar after seeing a cinema at Sathyamangalam. Following a sudden flood, they fell from the bike and washed away along with the vehicle.

Their bodies were recovered by Fire and Rescue personnel this morning, police said.
