Two held for betting on IPL matches

Two suspected bookies were arrested from Ameerpet area here today for allegedly accepting bets on the ongoing IPL matches, police said.
The sleuths of Commissioner's Task Force (West Zone) raided a house and apprehended Subrahamanyam Manikantam and Sheik Faryaz while they were allegedly accepting bets on phones from punters, they said.
Police seized a television set, three mobile phones and Rs 11,000 in cash from them.
