Two killed after compressor of an AC explodes

Two persons, including a nine-year-old boy, were killed when compressor of an air conditioning (AC) unit exploded in Vidya Nagar here today, police said.

The victims were identified as mechanic Joginder Singh (30) and Ayush (9), son of the owner of the house, police said.

Dinesh Jain, owner of the house, had called Singh for repair of the AC unit.

During repair work, the compressor of AC suddenly exploded, killing Singh and Ayush on the spot, police said.
