Two killed, two injured after auto rams into a truck

Two women were today killed and two others were injured when an autorickshaw in which they were travelling rammed into a stationary truck, police said.

The incident happened when all the four passengers were returning home in an auto today morning, Inspector DP Shukla said.

The driver of the three-wheeler lost control of the vehicle and rammed into a motionless truck near Butt village under Kotwali Robertsganj police station area, he added.

45-year-old Sawar Tara and 35-year-old Kamlawati, died on the spot while the two injured were taken to a nearby hospital.

The bodies have been sent for post mortem examination, Shukla said adding that the investigation is on in the matter.
