Two labourers crushed to death in J&K

Two labourers were today crushed to death as a concrete slab they were working under collapsed in Zaldagar locality of downtown city, police said.

The deceased were identified as Farooq Ahmad Sheikh and Abdul Majeed Sheikh, they said.

The incident took place when both of them were working at a construction site under the slab on the roof, a police officer said.

Both the daily wage labourers died on the spot, the officer said, adding both were residents of Bemina locality.

A case has been registered, police said.
