Two minor girls drown

The incident occurred when the girls went to take bath in the pond but drowned as they failed to judge the depth of the water, police said.

Villagers retrieved the bodies, police said adding that the victims tribal girls were identified as Aarti and Rinki Sardar (aged 8/9 years).

The bodies have been sent for post-mortem at M G M hospital here, sources added.
