Two motorable steel bridges to be constructed on Chenab

To connect mountainous belt of Doda district with road, the Jammu and Kashmir government is planning to construct two motorable steel bridges on Chenab river.

State Roads and Buildings department will construct the bridges on Chenab connecting various remote and mountainous belts, officials said.

Meanwhile, Road and Buildings Minister Abdul Majid Wani directed the officers to speed up the pace of development works in the region to ensure time bound completion.
