Two smugglers held with antelope horns

SSB personnel today arrested two smugglers with antelope horns in Bihar's Kishanganj district, an official said.

Acting on a tip off, the SSB personnel intercepted a motorcycle and arrested the two smugglers with a sack of antelope horns, the deputy commandant of 12th battalion of SSB Kumar Sundaram said.

The two had brought the seven pieces of antelope horns from Nepal for delivery to a client, he said.

The horns weigh three kg and have been valued at Rs 42 lakh in the international market, he said.

The motorcycle has been impounded, Sundaram said.
