Two women were killed and the driver of their vehicle was seriously injured when the car in which they were travelling collided with a private bus at Singhanwala village on the Moga-Kotkapura road, police said today.
The incident took place last night when the two women, identified as Jasbir Kaur (32) and Pramjit Kaur (35), were returning from Nanksar to Muktsar after paying obeisance, police said.
The car driver Harpreet Singh has been hospitalised and his condition is stated to be serious, police said.
