Unidentified persons broke into a State Bank of India ATM installed near Kotma bus stand in the neighbouring Anupur district and decamped with Rs 15 lakh cash, a police official said here today.
Anupur Superintendent of Police (SP) Anurag Sharma told PTI that during this morning's inspection, ATM in-charge Shailendra Kumar Tudu found the machine broken and money loaded in it missing.
Tudu lodged a complaint at the Kotma police station which booked unidentified persons as accused, the police official said.
He said that police teams have been formed to identify and arrest the accused.
