Union Minister Kalraj Mishra today met with a minor accident here today while returning from the Delhi international airport when his car was allegedly hit by a cab from behind.

Mishra suffered minor bruises and returned home soon after the incident. No major damage occurred, police said.

"The incident took place around 9:30 AM near Centaur Hotel when a cab hit Mishra's car. It was a minor incident and we have arrested the driver of the offending vehicle," DCP (IGI) M I Haider said.

The driver has been identified as Ashu Sharma, who is around 30-year-old. Police have registered a case under Section 279 of the IPC (rash and negligent driving).

Munde (64) was on his way to the airport when the SX4 he was traveling in was hit by a speeding Indica car at the Aurobindo Marg-Tughlak Road intersection.
