UP cop accidentally shoots self while cleaning rifle

A police constable accidentally shot himself while cleaning his rifle today at Sadar Bazaar police station here.

Constable Indrapal was cleaning his rifle while on duty when he accidentally pressed the trigger, shooting self on the leg, SP (City) Mahendra Singh Yadav said.

He has been admitted to the district hospital here and his condition is stated to be out of danger, the SP added.
