The Uttar Pradesh government today said it has signed 14 MoUs with entrepreneurs to establish industries in the state with an investment of over Rs 500 crore.
"14 MOUs have been signed by the state with entrepreneurs for establishment of industries with investment of over Rs 500 crore. Of them, work has been started on seven while land has not yet been finalised by the remaining seven," Chief Minister Akhilsh Yadav said in a written reply in the Assembly on a question of member Arun Kumar.
The CM said entrepreneurs, who have not started work, have not yet informed about any problems in establishment of industries and they have to arrange land themselves for the purpose.
"These entrepreneurs have been suggested a number of options but they have not finalised the land yet," he added.
