UP govt to allot land to flood affected people

The decision in this regard was taken at the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav here.

The land purchased by the government would be alloted free of cost to the displaced people, a statement issued here said.

Those living below poverty line, OBC, SC/ST, land less labourers would be given priority in the allotment process, it added.
