US posts USD 18 mn bounty for four African militants

The United States today posted USD 18 million in rewards for the capture of four African militants involved in the kidnapping of foreigners and attacks on Western targets.
Some USD 5 million each was offered for a former member of Nigeria's Boko Haram and two founding leaders of the Movement for Unity and Jihad in West Africa (MUJAO) based in the Maghreb region.
A fourth reward of USD 3 million was set for an Egyptian extremist who has plotted against the US, the State Department said.
