Singer Vanessa Carlton has welcomed her first child, daughter, with husband John McCauley.
The 34-year-old 'Ordinary Day' singer's husband took to Instagram to share the news with fans, reported Us magazine.
"Sid the Kid, whoa!!!" he captioned a photo of himself holding their adorable newborn.
Carlton married the band Deer Tick lead singer and guitarist in December 2013 in an outdoor ceremony, officiated by Fleetwood Mac's Stevie Nicks.
