Varunoday Sharma appointed Resident Chief Executive of OIL

Public sector undertaking, Oil India today said it has appointed its Group General Manager for Exploration and Development Varunoday Sharma as the new Resident Chief Executive of its Field Headquarters at Duliajan in Assam.

"Varunoday Sharma...Has taken over as the Resident Chief Executive (RCE) of Oil India Ltd's Field Headquarters at Duliajan from 1st of February, 2014 after the superannuation of K K Nath, RCE, OIL on 31st January, 2014," the company said in a statement.

A geo-scientist with over three decades of experience in the hydrocarbon exploration and production sector, Sharma had joined Oil India's Geological Department in 1982.
 

He had worked in various department of the company and served as the Group General Manager (KGB and BEP) in 2011 at Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh.
