Vijay Pandit murder case: Witness gets death threat

A witness in the BJP leader Vijay Pandit murder case has alleged that he has received death threat from unknown persons, police said today.

The witness said last night, while he was sleeping at his home, a man threatened him that now it was his turn.

Pandit, husband of Dadri Nagar Panchayat chairperson Geeta, was shot dead by four persons in Dadri on the night of June 7.

The trader community here under fear approached the police after the incident.

Dadri SHO Ashok Kumar Sharma said, "A police team has been formed to nab the persons who threatened the witness.
