A village head was arrested today by Anti-Corruption Bureau officials for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 5,000 for doing some official work in the Pali district.
Bagda Ram, the sarpanch of Biratiya Khurd village, had demanded the bribe from Mitthu Singh Rawat following which he lodged a complaint against the accused, IG, ACB, Smita Srivastava said.
A trap was laid during which Ram was caught red-handed while accepting the bribe, he said.
A case has been registered against him in this regard, the IG added.
