Villagers attack policemen, snatch service rifle

Two constables Niranjan Kushwaha and Satyapal Singh had gone to Davar village last night to inform a man, his brother and two others that there is a warrant against them and they have to appear before a court when a scuffle took place and the cops were beaten up.

The villagers also snatched a rifle from one of the policemen.

Following the incident, a police team rushed to the village and admitted the injured policemen to a nearby hospital.
