Wadoo's strike gives Bharat FC win over Sporting

Mehrajuddin Wadoo scored a second half goal to guide debutants Bharat FC to a 1-0 win over Sporting Clube de Goa in a ninth round encounter of the Hero I-League at the Balewadi Stadium here today.

In the 60th minute, Wadoo, a former India International, netted the ball in with a superb header after being fed by Lester Fernandez from a corner kick.

This is the second victory for Stuart Watkiss' side in the league so far, and it takes Bharat FC to the eighth position, while Sporting Goa remain at the bottom after failing to open their mark in eight games.
