WB Chief Secretary falls sick during programme

West Bengal Chief Secretary Sanjay Mitra felt unwell during a programme here this evening, Home Secretary Basudeb Banerjee said.

"The Chief Secretary was feeling unwell following sudden rise in his blood pressure," Banerjee told PTI.

Mitra, who was in a programme where Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was also present, was taken to hospital for check up.

"He is stable now," Banerjee said.
