Wholesale debt market segment of the National Stock Exchange today witnessed a total turnover of Rs 2,422.30 crore in 57 trades.

The 7.59 per cent government securities maturing in CG2026 traded value at Rs 975 crore at weighted yield of 7.43 per cent, the 91-days Treasury Bills (Issue No:290916), traded at Rs 300.00 crore at weighted yield of 6.56 per cent and the 7.59 per cent government securities maturing in CG2029 traded value at Rs 125 crore at weighted yield of 7.59 per cent.

During the trading week ended today, total turnover was Rs 21,031.33 crore and the total number of trades was 398.
The highest volume amount of trade during the week was at Rs 7,858.05 crore as on June 27 while the lowest was Rs 2,422.30 crore as on today (July 01,2016).
This week, the weighted yield on government securities with a maturity period of 0-3 years, 3-7 years, 7-10 years and more than 10 years was quoted at 6.99 per cent, 7.49 per cent, 7.45 per cent and 7.71 per cent, respectively.
The weighted yields on treasury bills maturing within 0-90 days, 91-182 days and 183-365 days was 6.70 per cent, 6.59 per cent and 6.83 per cent, respectively.
During the week, the cumulative value of government securities, treasury bills and state government securities trading on the WDM was Rs 16,269.64 crore, representing 77.36 per cent of the total traded value respectively,
Trading in non-government securities was at Rs 4,761.69 crore, representing 22.64 per cent, an NSE release said.
