Wheat prices moved up by Rs 50 per quintal at the wholesale grain market in the national capital today on increased demand from retailers and flour mills.
Tracking wheat, atta prices also strengthened.
Elsewhere, other grains after trading a narrow range, settled at previous levels.

Traders said increased offtake by flour mills and retailers, to meet rising demand, mainly supported the upside in wheat and atta prices.
In the national capital, wheat MP deshi enquired higher at Rs 2,400-2,750 per quintal from Rs 2,350-2,700.
Wheat dara, mostly consumed by flour mills also rose by Rs 20 to trade at Rs 1,700-1,750 per quintal.
In line with wheat, atta prices rose Rs 20 to Rs 1,710-1,725 per 90 kg bag.
