Widespread rainfall hits Udaipur division

Light to moderate rainfall occurred at many places in Udaipur and over a few parts of the Ajmer and Kota divisions of Rajasthan in the last 24 hours.

Isolated areas of Jalore, too, recorded heavy showers, MeT department sources said here.

Jaipur, Barmer and Chittorgarh recorded 7.8mm, 4.2mm and 1mm rainfall, respectively, while Ajmer, Dabok and Jodhpur reported drizzles.

Light rainfall is expected at isolated places in the state, but especially in its south-eastern parts in the coming 24 hours, according to a weather office forecast.
