Congress today said it will not allow Parliament to function if the wheat growers in Haryana were not given the "right" price for their produce.
Farmers have been suffering since BJP came in power in Haryana. Wheat is being procured at nominal prices from the farmers, Congress MP Deepender Singh Hooda said here.
"The state government should give them the right price else Congress would launch state-wide protests and disrupt the Winter Session of Parliament," he said.
Hooda said the party would also raise the issue of compensation to farmers in Parliament.
