Woman and 3-yr-old daughter killed in accident

A woman and her three-year-old daughter were today killed and her husband was injured after the bike on which they were travelling was hit by a speeding truck on Lucknow-Sultanpur Highway, police said.

Madhubala (25) was going somewhere with her three-years-old daughter and husband Bhaskar this morning on a bike which was hit by a truck near Loharmau village, they said, adding, the woman and her daughter were killed on the spot.

Injured Bhaskar was rushed to a hospital, where his condition was stated to be stable.

The police has launched a manhunt to nab the truck driver, who managed to flee from the spot.
