Woman booked for abetment to suicide

A woman was booked today for allegedly abetting the suicide of her 25-year-old husband in Gokalgarh village in the district, police said.

The victim Rajiv Yadav ended his life yesterday by jumping into a village pond, they said.

However, later after his body was fished out, a suicide note was recovered from his possession, stating that he was ending his life because of his wife Anju's "aggressive ways".

Accordingly, a case was registered against the accused, who was hospitalised after the incident.

Further probes are on, they added.
