Woman dies in clash over land dispute; family refuses to cremate body

A 24-year-old woman was killed during a clash between two groups over a property dispute in a village here on Tuesday, prompting a protest by her family, who have refused to cremate the body till all the accused are arrested.

was killed in Fatehgarh Gehri in the Gurharsahai sub-division on May 8 when two groups clashed over the possession of a two-acre plot.

SP (Detective), Ferozepur, Ajmer Singh said the police were conducting raids to nab the other accused.
