Woman ends life by jumping before train in Rameswaram

A 35-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide by jumping before a moving train at Thangachimadam near here today, railway police said.

The deceased, a mother of two from Thangachimadam, jumped infront of the Rameswaram-Tiruchi passenger express this afternoon when it reached Thangachimadam, they said adding the woman might have taken the extreme step due to family problems.

A case has been registerd in this connection, railway police said.
