Woman held for selling fake power banks

A 50 year-old woman from Maharashtra has been arrested for allegedly selling fake power banks here.

On examining the fake produce, police found that the power banks she sold were similar to the one seized from a Dubai-bound passenger by security officials at Mangaluru International Aiport on September 20.

Investigation was on to find out if there was an organised racket involved in the selling of fake power banks, police said.
