A 45-year-old woman was arrested here today after 16 kgs of ganja was allegedly found in her possession.
The woman, hailing from Thevaram in Tamil Nadu's Theni district, arrived at the Central Railway Station from Vijayawada early today.
When police checked her belongings on suspicion, 16 kg of ganja was found concealed in her baggage.
On questioning, the woman told the police that she planned to take a Theni-bound train or bus with the contraband for selling it in the southern districts of the state.
