Woman kills her toddler with help of two paramours

An eight-month-old baby girl was killed allegedly by her mother and two of her paramours in Kadakavoor area here, police said.

The three accused, arrested today, have confessed to the crime, they said.

The child's mother Chandraprabha had told police that she had found her child dead in the morning after she woke up on May 9.

A postmortem conducted on the baby, however, showed that she had been drowned.

The woman was questioned again after which she admitted that she along with her lovers Sanal and Ajeesh had killed the child by drowing her in a water tank.
