Woman pilgrim killed, several injured in mishap

An elderly woman was killed and several pilgrims were injured when a tractor trolley overturned in Lalganj area.

Shakuntala Devi (65) was killed in the mishap near Rampur Bawli area last night, police said.

The pilgrims were going to pay obeisance at Kadedham from Sangrampur area of the district, police said.

The injured were rushed to Lalganj community health center, from where six with serious injuries were referred to the district hospital, it said.
